The Neighborhood provides donors, volunteers, and advocates the organization they require to serve our community’s hurting, hungry and homeless. Through fundraising efforts like the Golf scramble the Neighborhood secures the resources, structures, skills and knowledge our donors require to achieve full potential. And if you didn’t realize it, that’s why savvy philanthropists like you give charities like the Neighborhood restricted gifts dedicated to capacity building structures that result in long-term financial sustainability! The golf committee is in full swing planning our 16th annual scramble. Diamond Links will be hosting the event again this year and the improvements to the course continue to amaze! We believe our scramble will not only be the first of the year, but also one of the best!
We have come a long way since the conception of centralizing social service in our community. Did you know; 88% of the people we serve are from Boyd County, 10% are from the Fivco area (our surrounding counties) and 2% are transient. We want you to understand when you support the Neighborhood all the monetary gifts stay right here in our community.
The Neighborhood is committed to helping our agencies and clients by providing rent- free space in a clean, inviting environment, as well as continuing to work on development and outreaches that will showcase our community within our state and our nation.
